QR CODES! Have you heard about them yet?. Although not really a new idea, it is fairly new to the United States. According to one study, 14 million mobile users scanned a QR code or bar code during the month of June 2011. 58% scanned from their home, 39% scanned at a store. 53% were men between the ages of 18 and 34. What are they used for? Several uses, largely marketing uses. The code can be set up to go to your website, a special on your website, directions to get to your place, coupons, phone number, text, and more. You can place the code in an advertisement, website, package, sign or any other idea you might have. Even a T-shirt.
